The purpose of Indigenous Response (LAKOTA RESPONSE TO COVID 19) is to educate and provide information and resources of Lakota prevention healing services for the communities, Elderly population 60 years and older, in the Pine Ridge Reservation.
There are 3,556 elders who reside in the Pine Ridge Reservation. They are in need of supplies.
Many of our tribal citizens are in the high risk category. They are our oral historians, language speakers, and cultural educators.
